My My My Said the jumping spider to the fly.In April of 2011,I was doing something to the inside of my seldom driven 67 scout,when I noticed this hanging above my head.At fist I did not know what it was,after several seconds of studying the thing,I realized it was a jumping spider (Salticidae)  munching on a would be queen,flying wood ant,

I eased out of the scout,and went into the house for my camera,as I was getting ready to take this picture,it looked as if the spider was posing for the picture,as if to say ,”quite a catch,huh”. After I took the picture,and studied it,sure enough the spider was staring right at me,through this whole session the spider never moved a mm.I have had several encounters with jumping spiders,and find the fascinating.

you cannot sneak up on a jumping spider,they always see you,coming ,and will turn around stare at you and not back down,or run away,when they get tired of looking at you,and figure you are to big to eat,they suddenly jump away,the baby size,are  fun to play with,kinda like a frog but harder to keep track of
